This Christmas was Crew's first Christmas :) he got so many fun toys! It was so fun having him with us this year. As you can see in the pictures he was so scared of Santa! I don't know what it is, but every time he looks at Santa he cries and then can't stop starring at him, it's hilarious!

Crew can FINALLY crawl now! He is getting so big so fast, he says "baba" and "dada" we are working on "mama" :) Now that he can crawl he loves to go to the plug outlet's and put his little finger in it, so we went and bought outlet covers. :) He also loves to go over to the t.v. stand and push the Directv buttons and take all the DVDs off and throw them on the floor. He crawls to the door stoppers and plays with it (i think he just likes the annoying noise) lol. He just crawls everywhere now, it's so cute! So, now that he knows how to crawl his new thing is trying to stand up against things especially his walking toy and the ottoman. We just love every age, but this age is especially FUN! He is learning so many new things everyday!

Our sweet boy is 7 months old already! He is seriously so fun & so happy! He loves to sit and play with toys. He is wanting to crawl so bad he gets that one leg in crawling position and then lands right on his tummy lol. We just love having him around, he is the best baby!

Crew is now 61/2 months old :) he is so FUN at this age right now. He can sit up all by himself! :) i love it because he can play with his toys, sit up and watch everything that is going on..(he sometimes gets a little top heavy and tips over haha) he is just getting so big so fast! We started him on rice cereal a couple weeks ago, he LOVED it of course..and this week we started him on baby food bananas, and loved those too! :) I love being with him all the time he is the cutest boy ever. He is a happy(loves to laugh) & good baby, we are so blessed to have him! We went to the doctor this last week and the doc said his development looks great, he is a healthy boy!

Our sweet son is 5 1/2 months old!! We love him to death he has been the BEST baby everrr!! I know i say this all the time, but he is getting so big so fast. His new favorite thing to do is (of course play with his toys) but he LOVES to roll over from his back to his tummy! When ever i put him down the first thing he does is roll over and he loves to stay on his tummy, play and lift his head up so high! He has been such a joy we love him so much, he is my little buddy that goes everywhere with me and is with me 24/7 i LOVE it! He sure loves his daddy, when Shay gets home from work Crew has this big smile and is so excited to see him! We don't know what we would do with out him, we feel so blessed to have him in our lives! <3

Crew was 4 months old last month ( i am a little late on blogging lol). He is such a GOOD baby we are so blessed to have him in our lives. Crew is getting so BIG it's so crazy how fast they grow up..i remember people telling me "enjoy them while they are little" that's so true because they sure do grow up way fast! We have so much fun with our little guy, he loves to: *EAT *laugh *talk (all the time it's so dang cute i love it), *roll over, *play with all his toys, *sleep through the night 8 or 9 hrs a night (which i LOVE it's so nice :) ) *sit in the bumbo and watch t.v., *go to the pool and be in the water. WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH & we are so lucky to be his parents. He is the cutest little boy EVER!! :)

This Fourth of July we just stayed home and went boating on Utah Lake, had lots of bbq's, watched the fire works from stadium of fire in Provo at a church parking lot in the grass & went to Park City for a day. We had lots of fun, it was so nice to hang out and spend the weekend with Shay since he didn't have work on the 4th. It was a FUN weekend for us! :)

Our little guy is already 3 months old! I can't believe it, time goes by way too fast. We have been going to the pool and Crew loves it. He loves to people watch, dip his feet in the water, and lay on his back and kick. He just loves to be outside :) He is such a happy baby all the time, we LOVE him SO MUCH!!

We just LOVE our little guy so much!! He is getting so big! He stares at us all the time and while we talk to him he coo's back it's so cute! This last week he has discovered his hands, he loves to put them in his mouth and look at them. When we click our tongue at him he smiles and then copies us. When he first figured it out he was so happy and smiling lol. We love how our baby boy is so attentive.

Last weekend for Memorial day we went to Lake Mead and stayed in Mesquite at the condo that shay's parents own. We all had a lot of FUN! It was nice to get away for the weekend and go boating and just hang out with the family. It was very warm there, so that was nice to be in some good weather finally! Crew of course loved the boat as you can see, he just loves being outside. He is seriously the happiest baby we love him so much!!

Our baby boy is 2 months old already, it's crazy how time goes by so fast and how big he is getting. He smiles & coos all the time now it's so cute! He is very alert and loves to stare at everything. We went to his 2 month check-up the other day and he is pretty little. We love him so much! He just gets cuter by the day :)

Last week Crew and i flew to Florida for a week (shay had to stay home and work we wish he could have gone with us). It was so FUN, Alicia and Joshy were there and the babies loved being together at grandma and grandpas house! Crew did awesome traveling he is the best baby. He loved the beach and being outside, we would walk every morning and Crew would just stare at the sky it was funny. :) It was a great trip!

I can't believe our little guy is 1 month old already! He has brought so much joy into our lives, we love him so much and can't get enough of him! He is already getting so big just within the last month its crazy how they grow up so fast. He has already started to smile at us :). He can also hear our voices from the other room and move his head to see where we are at, it's the cutest thing ever (we can't wait for more firsts). We love being parents to our cute little boy (and i especially love being a mommy, he's my little sidekick) :). We are so happy to have such a darling healthy baby boy, we're so grateful to have him in our lives. xoxo

Last Saturday we blessed Crew at our house and my whole family flew into town to be there, so we were able to have my family and Shay's family there. Shay did a great job on the blessing. :) Thanks for everyone who came and shared that special day with us.

Last week we went to Chelsey Bell's house and got Crew's pictures taken, it was a little bit of a process haha. Crew peed and pooped about 5 times during the session and of course he pooped on the shaggy rug that Chelsey had i felt so bad about that. After about an hour he finally fell asleep and then he was great. :) Chelsey was VERY patient and the pictures turned out amazing she did a GREAT job, so thank you Chels! *Today i took Crew to the doctor for his 2 week check-up, everything is great! He is a healthy baby :) we feel so blessed to have such a cute & healthy little boy! We love him!

On Wednesday March 23, 2011 @ 5:04 pm Crew was born weighing in at 6lbs. 3oz. 19.5 in long. Last Tuesday evening i started having mild contractions and they were getting a little worse. We decided to go to the hospital at midnight to see where i was at. I was only dilated to a 1 and 90% effaced, so they called my doctor and he told them to give me morphine and just go home. So we went home and slept for 5 1/2 hrs then the morphine wore off. I woke up and my contractions were stronger so we went back to the hospital Wednesday morning at 8 and they said i was dilated to a 4 and 100% effaced. So they kept me. Then by the time the anesthesiologist got into the room i was dilated to an 8. Once the epidural kicked in i felt sooo much better. :) By 12:00 that afternoon i was dilated to a 10 and 100% effaced, so the nurses had me do the rest and descend method for a couple hrs. Then after that i pushed for 2 1/2 hrs and Crew arrived. :) We love him so much and can't get enough of him. He is a blessing in our lives. We love being parents. Shay is a great dad he has helped sooo much with Crew while my mom has helped me recover. I LOVE my baby BOY and so excited he is healthy and here safely.

Shay and I just went to Florida for four days to get out of the cold :) it was a blast we love that weather..Shay got to play golf everyday all day & i got to lay out and hang out with my mom we had soooo much FUN..it was a good little getaway!

*Baby update...as you can see i have gotten bigger from the 26 wk pic to 30 wk pic haha... the pregnancy has been going GREAT i can't complain, i have 10 weeks to go, its been going pretty fast so far.. we're so excited we can't wait to meet our little boy!! :)

IT'S A BOY!!!!

Shay and i went to our 20 week appointment 2 weeks ago and it's a BOY we are naming him Crew. We had to keep a secret for 2 weeks and it was the longest 2 weeks EVER! We surprised our families this last weekend. It was so awesome to see our baby boy & we're so happy that he is healthy and everything went great!! We can't wait to meet our little boy :)

This last week i went to California to visit both my sisters. I went to Irvine to see Alicia and my mom because Alicia moved out there. Then we drove up to Fresno for a couple days to visit Jen & the kids, that was sooo much FUN! I spent that last few days in Irvine and hung out, we went to Laguna to see some friends..the weather wasn't the best but it was so good to see EVERYONE!! :)

So it has been FOREVER since i have updated the blog (i know i'm slacking big time), i haven't had internet so it's been hard to update everything.

The big news...

We're having a baby!!

Yes i'm pregnant and i am due March 25th, we are so excited! This has been a GREAT pregnancy so far, i have not been sick at all, i have felt AMAZING. I feel so lucky i'm not throwing up and feeling the morning sickness like a lot of the women do. We heard the heart beat a while ago and it was the coolest thing ever, the baby was very active the doc said it kept kicking the last time i went to the doc.. I am 17 weeks and we will find out if its a boy or a girl in a few weeks :) we can't wait!! I will post pictures soon. :)

~Lake Powell~

During Labor Day weekend we went to Lake Powell with Shay's family, it was so FUN and the weather was gorgeous (of course) :) That is one of our favorite trips of the year. Our anniversary is sept, 6th and it was actually on Labor Day this year so we were in Lake Powell on our anniversary, it worked out great we loved it!

I was able to go to Minnesota for a week and visit my family at the Lake house, Shay couldn't come with me unfortunately he had to stay home and work :(. It's been so much fun spending time with the family and kids, we've all had so much fun! We went tubing, wake boarding, boating, jet skiing, and went to Mall of America etc. Shay and I will be back up here in 2 1/2 weeks for the Resorters...we're excited! p.s it's been PERFECT weather here this year so far.

Here is our new home! Shay and I bought a house in Lehi, its a 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath. They built it in 2 months its amazing. We love it sooo much. I went to Portland to visit Alicia for the weekend (it was a quick trip), it was good to see her. I had a lot of fun, it reminded me of kentucky except it rains all the time in Portland. haha it was awesome because the weekend i was there it was SUNNY and WARM for the first time in a month and a half so we hung out by the pool the whole time, got manicures, and went shopping :)

This Christmas was with my family, so we all went to Florida for about 10 days or so, we have had a blast. On Christmas eve our family opens all the presents that night from everyone and then "santa" comes in the morning ;) This year we had Santa visit the little kids on Christmas eve. The Santa was my dad haha he did a great job we all laughed and had a good time, i think that will be the new tradition :). It is so nice to be on vacation, all the guys golf and all the girls lay out and go to the beach, and just hang out!! Here are some pictures of the trip i will take more and post all of them when the trip is over!! :)

This last weekend Mike, Alicia and I drove to California to see my parents. We drove down Wednesday night and stayed in Vegas that night then drove the next morning to Cali. We had so much fun we went shopping, drove to laguna to see some friends and just hung out in San Diego. It was great to just chill for a few days. Every year Shay's family has a pumpkin carving contest. We all get together and have dinner, desserts and then carve the pumpkins. It is a lot of fun!! All of the pumpkins turned out great this year, everyone did a good job carving, especially the little kids :) here are some pictures.

For our anniversary we went on a bike ride up provo canyon to bridal veil falls we had so much fun it was a gorgeous day! Then we went to Park City to shop, ride the alpine slides and go to dinner, it was a great day. The first year of marriage is easy ;) Shay and I are so happy together its been a great year!

Every year during the first week in August my whole family gets together and we all go to my parents lake house in Minnesota. We all have so much fun, all the guys go golfing in this golf tournament called the Resorters and all the girls chill on the lake, sometimes go on the golf course to watch. :)
